1. Data controller
RISTORAZIONE GALILEO SERVIZIO CATERING & BANQUETING DI FIORIN MORENO — Via San Marco, 14, 35129 Padova (PD), Italy — info@galileoristorazione.it.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser and read back on later visits. Similar technologies, such as the browser's localStorage and sessionStorage, serve similar purposes and are treated the same way.
Technical cookies are required for the website to work and do not require consent. Third-party analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics cookies, are set only after you give your consent.
3. Technical cookies (always enabled)
- cc_cookie — first party. Stores the choices made in the cookie banner (accepted categories, date, anonymous consent identifier). Duration: 182 days (6 months).
- galileo-lang (localStorage) — first party. Remembers the language you chose. Duration: until you delete it.
- galileo-auto (sessionStorage) — first party. Prevents repeating the automatic redirect to the English version. Duration: until the tab is closed.
4. Analytics cookies (only with consent)
The website uses Google Analytics 4, installed via Google Tag Manager, to collect aggregate statistics on website usage (pages visited, visit duration, device type, approximate geographic origin). Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
- _ga — distinguishes visitors. Duration: 2 years.
- _ga_<ID> — keeps the session state. Duration: 2 years.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). The website uses Google Consent Mode v2: until you give consent, Google Analytics does not set cookies or read identifiers from your device; Google may receive cookieless technical signals without persistent identifiers. Advertising signals are always disabled.
Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Provider's notice: policies.google.com/privacy and business.safety.google/privacy.
5. Third-party content
The Contacts page embeds a Google Maps map. When the page loads, Google receives the visitor's IP address and may set or read its own cookies under its cookie policy. The Controller has no access to this data.
6. How to manage or withdraw consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject them all or choose individual categories. Closing the banner with the “X” rejects non-essential cookies. Scrolling or browsing does not count as consent. Your choice is stored for 6 months, after which the banner is shown again.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page or with this button:
If you withdraw consent, analytics cookies already set are deleted. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings ( Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Disabling technical cookies may affect how some parts of the website work.
7. Your rights
To exercise your rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR and to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
This Cookie Policy may be updated. If the cookies requiring consent change, the banner will be shown again to collect a new choice.
